Was یا were کے بعد فعل کی ing شکل ماضی میں جاری کام دکھاتی ہے۔ At eight سے وقت اور when سے اسی دوران واقعہ بتایا جا سکتا ہے۔ Was اور were شخص کے مطابق بدلتے ہیں۔
