Start with the three forms you will use often
Present simple helps you describe your routine: “I study after dinner.” Present continuous helps you describe what is happening now: “I am studying.” Past simple helps you describe a completed event: “I studied yesterday.” These small contrasts give you a useful starting point.
Why a formula is not enough
Urdu endings can suggest a meaning, but they do not always map to one English pattern. Context tells you whether a situation is temporary, complete or still continuing. Read a short example, explain its meaning in your own words, then make a new sentence before moving to the next form.
Practise the contrast
Write something you do every day. Next, write what you are doing right now. Finally, write what you did yesterday. Underline the verbs and check whether the forms match the time and meaning you intended.
