HELP & SUPPORT

A little help, then your next step.

Get help choosing an English course, saving learning progress, using the dictionary, practising translations and reporting problems.

Where should I start?

If you are new to English, open Learn and choose the beginner path, or try Find your starting point. The result is a suggested starting place, not an official level certificate. The 30-day course introduces useful basics; the 60- and 90-day plans add more everyday practice. A day is a study step: you can repeat it or take longer.

How do I save my progress?

Lessons, bookmarks, saved words, course checklists, game scores and writing notes save in this browser on this device. My Learning shows your progress. Use Export backup regularly and keep the downloaded JSON file somewhere safe. On a different device, open My Learning and import that file. There is currently no login or automatic cloud sync. Private browsing and clearing site data can remove progress.

Why is a translation not found?

The translation practice tool recognises a prepared collection of learning phrases; it is not a general machine translator. Try one of the shown examples, or use Dictionary to search individual words in English, Urdu or supported Roman Urdu spellings. Missing phrases are not proof that your sentence is wrong. Live AI translation is currently off.

How do games and scores work?

Choose a game and a practice set, answer each round and read the explanation. You can replay a set to practise. Scores are stored locally and do not represent an official English level. If you find an ambiguous question, include the game name, question and selected answer in a correction report.

Why can I not hear or record audio?

Check your device volume and the browser’s available speech voices. Listen buttons use your browser, so accents and language support vary. The speaking recorder needs a compatible browser, a microphone and your permission. The recording stays in memory and is lost when you close the page. Written activities remain available without audio.

Can I use the website for IELTS?

The IELTS area introduces the four skills and provides starter practice. It does not replace full official preparation, qualified feedback or a complete timed mock test. No score here is an official IELTS band. Follow the official resources linked on each guide for the test format and sample questions.

Is it free? Will I be charged later?

The current site is free. There are no subscriptions, payment forms or automatic charges. Future optional paid features or advertising will be explained before introduction. Using this version does not create a payment commitment.

How do I report a problem?

Open Contact & feedback, describe the page and what happened, and prepare a report. Send it through your own email application to contact@urdutoenglish.net. For privacy or accessibility requests, use the same address. Do not send passwords, identification documents or sensitive learner information.
