A little practice. A world of possibilities.ہر روز تھوڑی انگریزی، ہر روز نیا اعتماد
WHY WE ARE BUILDING THIS

English opens doors. Start in your own language.

Urdu to English is a learning project for people across Pakistan who want clear explanations, useful practice and a manageable way to begin.

A familiar place to begin

Many learners understand an English rule after hearing it explained in Urdu. The difficult part is often using it independently. This platform connects the explanation with examples, a small practice task and a clear next step. Roman Urdu is available for learners who find it easier to read.

Who this is for

The lessons support beginners, students and adults building everyday English. More advanced topics introduce writing, workplace communication and careful opinions. The IELTS area is an independent introduction to preparation, with links to official resources. It is not an accredited school or an official testing service.

What is available today

You can browse bilingual lessons, follow 30-, 60- or 90-day study plans, listen to examples, practise with quizzes and games, and search an openly licensed community dictionary. Progress is saved on your device. Prepared translations and the Study helper work without a paid API. Live AI translation and conversation are not available in this release.

What we still need to improve

This is an early public learning project. Independent bilingual educator review, a deeper advanced curriculum and qualified writing assessment are future work. We do not invent teachers, testimonials, learner counts or exam results. Our editorial policy explains how content is prepared and what review remains.

Who maintains the project

Urdu to English is independently maintained by Basharat for Urdu-speaking learners, especially learners across Pakistan. It is not a registered school or an exam board. For questions, corrections, accessibility support or privacy requests, email contact@urdutoenglish.net. We welcome specific examples that help make the next lesson clearer.
